Tips on curing vapor lock?

I had the same problem, very hard hot starting, even with all afterrun
systems working properly.
I installed a momentary contact push button switch in the dash, wired to the
grounding wire on the cold start valve. Now, if I do have a problem
starting the car when hot, I press the switch while cranking which gets some
fuel into the engine and it fires, which must lift the fuel meter plate and
help clear the lines, because it will keep running.
The downside, is that, the way I have it hooked up, I have to use my manual
switch for cold starting too. This isn't such a big deal to me, and I view
it as a sort of antitheft device - auto theft is a major problem here.
