REplacing fuel filters

Hi all,
  I am going to be replacing my fuel filters this weekend, they should
arrive shortly.  Are there any gotcha's on doing this?  Like presoak X
for at least X so it doens't do X, type of stuff?  I reliaze by the
bently that the arrows have to point in the right direction, but outside
of that, is there anything that I should be aware of?
