Fitting Bilsteins

I replaced a Bilstein recently... I don't think you use the factory
style bump stops, just the pretty blue boot that comes with the strut.
I seem to remember reading (here) that the Bilsteins have internal bump
stops.

Correct, the new gland nut thing accomodates the big fat piston.

If the bump is big enough, nothing is gonna save that strut, though:
