The trannys are not that much ($150)
nor are the shafts.($100) USD.
the trick is to get them across
the border. Into Canada! Eh.

Hi,
My odyssey is painful:
I left my car for center bearing replacement (with BMW bearing); the repair
shop insisted to rebuild the transmission first("200k km is the limit for
those trannys"); I asked only for center bearing replacement:
after 5 days in the shop the damaged the old bearing - yoke seized, now with
the new bearing vibrations make the car
undrivable- the shaft is bent.
There are no usable shafts in our area -Calgary,
Does anybody know about a usable driveshaft(no need of bearing), just a yoke
might be useful.
Also any transmission in a good shape or rebuilt?
(As you might suspect I love that car quite a bit, and put new 4 tires a
month ago end a large front -end job)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
