The reason for the suggestion to rebuilt the transmission was a noise coming
from the area just behind my hand brake(behind the front seats). My expertise
was the bearing, also I have estimates from other shops, pointin the bearing
as noisy.
The shop owner said that the tranny is the problem not the bearing.
I insisted for bearing replacement and because the yoke was very hard to drive
out they bent something-yoke or the shaft. They stated that because of
vibrations now the car is not driveble.
The owner keeps blamind me, "because I asked them to do something they did not
want to do", I shoud pay for all
time spent beyond estimated time and for all future repairs if I wand that car
fixed.
There are no shafts around and I'm looking for any help!
Thx,
Dobby
