87.5 dying slowly help

My 87.5 CGT had the same problem. In my case the hall sensor had partly pulled out of the distributor. The little "feet" on it were broken (now held tight with a wire tie). So, I'd suggest you check your Hall Sensor and it's connections. Make sure the connections are clean and tight and that the sensor itself is properly seated in the distributor.
