Not sure about the 93 100 steering rack, but I assume that it is similar
or the same as the 93 S4.
I have disconnected the servotronic on my car and it has been that way
to quite some time(years, not months) No troubles noted as of yet.
Although, its not a huge difference at all. Im running 17x8.5" wheels
and 245 tires and I figured it would be hard to drive with it unplugged.
It's not.
Remember you still have power steering just not the assist from the
servo's..
So... Not sure on your 100, but on the S4, you pull the plug on the
steering rack itself. It's fairly obvious if you look at the drivers
side, there is only one electrical plug going into the rack.
On the s-cars, later years had the relay you can pull...
