Aw, dang it, no compression!

Thanks for all the great input guys.  I'm going to go ahead and do the leak
down test since I believe I've got the equipment to do it and I want to see
what happens.  On the question of adding oil, I did the compression test
both before and after adding oil with the same results so I do hope this
eliminates the rings.  Of course I suppose there could still be a big hole
in the piston.  YIKES!  I'm voting for a bad valve.
