Recaro seat installation

I've removed a Recaro from one 4000 to install it in another, but I can't,
for the life of me, figure out where other end of the small spring that
attaches to the U-shapes "sleeve" on the fore/aft release pin attaches to.

If anyone's got a Recaro in a 4k, and can help me out of my dilemma, will
you please drop me a note off-list?
