Re: Tailgaters

I keep a stash of pennies in the car and flip them up through the sun roof.
I'm currently looking for some method of propelling ball bearings from the
rear of the car. Suggestions (polite ones)are appreciated. Those of you who
feel that tailgating is really just drafting need not reply.

5" isn't that much... but it's enough that you should clean the snow
off your roof! Yeah, it looks cooler if you don't, and it's a good
way to warn off tailgaters, but large amounts of snow unexpectedly
hitting the guy behind you in the face can suck. And, for that
matter, if you stop quickly and end up with it piled on your hood,
you'll be pretty stuck, too. At least you should do avalanche patrol
on your roof to make sure the snowpack won't be sliding ;)

I thought of another neat way to keep tailgaters away: I'd like to
mount up a little switch that I could push to let the rear bumper fall
about 3", as if it were about to fall off. Assuming the focused EMP
cannon never gets built...
