- winter wiper blades

I like the winter blades with the rubber boot covering the joints, but
when I use the winter blades I have had problems with the left side wiper
lifting off of the windshield at highway speeds. My air deflector is in
place on the wiper arm. Because of the lifting, I run a shorter wiper
blade on the left than I do on the right. Something like 16" on the left
and 20" on the right. I have two Type 44 Audis, so I set them both up
this way and use both blades from a short set and a long set.

The fast and simple answer to this problem is to pick up a set of winter
blades. They have a nice rubber boot around the entire assembly which
prevents the snow from freezing the joints and allows the blade to flex as
it nomally would.
