[What blades do you guys use? I find the Bosch
MicroEdge Excel to be the best on the market. With
RainX winter formula, I never have a problem with ice,
streaking or other buildup.

That works for me well - just use the Rain-X tho, didn't know about the
winter formula. Usually, I take the time to apply the Rain-X
properly. I think it works great and have relied upon it for years.
But even if not applied properly, it does its magic.

My friend and next door neighbor who had to work early Sunday was
having a problem keeping the windshield clear - streaking and squeaking
wipers. I just squirted some Rain-X on even with some snow on the
windshield. He operated the wipers. Heavy snow now shedded easily,
even though I didn't take the time to wipe.

Off he went out into the storm and up the 40 deg. inclined driveway in
these '84 Red 4kq he got from me a few months back. His almost new
Cavalier with traction control didn't even budge out of its spot -
forget the incline. He was very happy to have been one of the few
vehicles able to be out on the road when he made the trip into D.C. and
returned later that evening. He passed many cars and SUVs buried on
the side of the road.
