CGT Trunk release

OK, I think I fixed it. I now agree that the struts are not supposed to "pop" the trunk. Even the old wrong strut didn't really pop the trunk to my eye, I was just using the words of another lister who was trying to help me out. It turns our, as a prue coincidence, that the striker plate (or whatever you want to call the part the latch locks onto) on the tunk lid had 1 of the 2 screws loose. So, when you'd unlatch it, it would reamin locked. A quick adjustment and tightening of the screw and all is good. I hate it when the simple stuff kicks my rear...
