Pre-84 cars had different strut housings from later cars because the change
to ABS brakes changed the design of the wheel bearing housing. At the same
time, the springs were changed and it was these that changed the ride
height.
The shock inserts didn't change - the same parts are listed throughout the
entire run of Ur-q, so the Konis that you have will fit any Ur-q.
