<<Quattrophile,

I got a lot of good answers to my earlier question of merit of using
the NF block with MC head and turbo setup. It seems that it wouldn't
be worth it in my case as there is little to gain. So, 'nother
question.

How about using an NG head and intake manifold to install on the MC
block. My initial thoughts are it would actually lower compression a
tad, and wouldn't really change displacement. Doesn't it have larger
valves and flow better? >>

How do you figure it would lower compression? -the NG head has the same comb.
chamber volume as the MC motor. Yes, larger valves and better shaped ports,
you'd probably have to use the NF fuel lines too to acommodate the intake
manifold.

Yes, but problem is using these spare parts means you'll be reconfiguring all
your intake plumbing (not the end of the world), but its a good flowing head
that should work well for you. All I can think of right now,
