CO mixture reading problems

I have been doing a lot of work on my 874kq.  I have used 4 different digital
multimeters and found one thing in common.  On the control pressure actuator
i cannot get a mA reading on any multimeter but if i switch to the ohms i get
a reading that "seems" very similar to a mA reading.  So i set to mixture to
10(mA/ohms) fluctuating.  The reason i say the ohm reading "seems" the same
as the mA is that before i adjusted the mixture i pulled the connector to the
cpa and there was no engine idle change (at operating temp) then set up the
multimeter and no numbers until i leaned the mixture about 1/2 turn then saw
the numbers come in. After setting to ~10 when you unplug the connector you
hear the engine idle slow way down. But i cant check for 140mA at startup for
cold start.  So i know its working but how close to exact are we?
