Those coils

Went to collect some parts yesterday, dealer's lot was so full that I had to
park on street. Mentioned in the parts dept that they should get a bigger
lot but got told that they didn't really need one, it was just the 16 TTs,
assorted A4s and A6s with duff coils that were causing problems. Still, they
reckoned that the workshop staff were keeping fit pushing the cars
around.......

The parts dept had a huge stack of new coils but even then were only
swapping out the duff coils to get people mobile and would recall the cars
later to replace the others. Price of the coils has dropped to 25% of the
original price.
