Rotor replacement

I have never played around with the timing adjustment as you guys are
talking about, but I have had to take the timing belt off twice before. The
way I have always done it is the way the Bentley says. I line up the 0 mark
on the flywheel then I turn the cam sprocket (w/ t-belt off) until the dot
on the backside of the sprocket lines up with the edge of the valve cover
gasket (that's a big eyeball guess btw). Once those two are aligned, I put
the t-belt on and it always has started fine. With 250,000 miles on the car
I figure something would have gone wrong by now if I hadn't done it right.
The engine still runs as strong as when I got the car with about 100k.

If you are looking to improve the top end, you could open that exhaust up a
little. I have a Scorpion (2.5") on my 90q and definitely noticed more
power upstairs. On the contrary I noticed a drop off on the low end. The
upper end power makes up for a lot on the freeway though, I can keep up with
a lot of cars that have a lot more HP than me.

Just my thoughts.
