99 A6 gearing

Mainly, the new map holds 1st gear a bit longer, and to be honest, I don't
think I have the new map. My car shifts up in 2nd if the wind is blowing. Or
even if it's not. It's really anemic the way it shifts to 2nd gear so early.

The other troubling bit is that even in tip mode, the shift to 2nd comes way to
early and there's no way to lock it out.

If I keep this car (doubtful) I'll pick up a tip chip from Shine Racing
Service. If I get what I want, it'll either be a Y2K A6 2.8 with a 5-spd, or a
Passat 1.8t with a 5-spd.
