I think the asymetrical SP5k is for 55-series and below; my car would
get the symetrical design. So perhaps Lee's experience was with the
asym. tire?
Thanks, all, for the replies. I got one other reply about SP5k's, a very
positive experience. The Nokian NRW sounds intriguing, though--I don't
drive in the snow more than a few days a year, and the SP4k's did fine,
but I wouldn't mind having more confidence in those conditions. I'll
look around for those.
