Ceramic coating aftermath

Well, as some may know, the coating I ended up using
(Techline Satin Black) has been flaking off ever since
I started the car. I went down to the shop that did
it, Applied Plastic Coatings in Denver, and had them
look at it. Everyone in the shop was out there
scatching thier heads, swearing this was a first.
Anyways, they really wanted to re-do it, but there is
no way I'm taking that header out right now. Instead
they gave me a full refund, and I was on my way. I
guess it's possible they had a bad batch, but it
really looks like they just contaminated the area
somehow.
So would I still recommend them? Maybe if I was in a
time crunch, but I think next time I'll be mailing it
out to one of the other places.
FWIW, the ares that are still coated are very
impressive. It's easy to tell how much cooler they
just by putting your hand over it.
At least I have money for that new cam now:)
Later,
=====
