Wow!  No kidding.  You want narrower in winter.
"Pizza cutters"  my friend from Boulder used to call
them.  I just watched the WRC of Finland?  Anyway it
was in snow and I was amazed how tall and thin the
tires were.  Good luck with those rafts.
