Scott,

Do yourself a favour...don't go too cheap.  Your best bet is to find a Lincoln
Electric brand welder, buy the highest capacity that will run of a 110volt
outlet.  Canadian cost is around $600-800.  So you guys in the states pay what,
$3.00!?!  :-)

I can find the model name for you if you like.
