It is done...almost

Hi all,

Now for the continuing saga of the head replacement on the wagon.

I spent another 4 hours this afternoon on this project which brings the
total to 13 hours.
The pump I inquired about the other day was the A/C pump, it is a real pain
in the a** to loosen to get the belt off. Not very easy at all.

Of course, the crank pulley had to come off to replace the timing belt, yet
another unexpected task :-). But, it now has a new timing belt and I feel
much more secure in that it will not breaking due to age while on the
highway. Besides $13cdn is really cheap :-)

I stopped tonight short of starting the motor for two reasons. One, when
doing a project like this I have been taught to walk away at the end and
come back the next day to double check everything. This has policy has saved
me a number of times in the past.

Secondly, in the my first double check run :-). I found a vacuum hose that
appears to run from the carbon canister in the fender to somewhere. That
somewhere is the issue. It is brown then attaches to a rubber hose so I
figure it has to attach to a male connection somewhere. Its length is about
8 inches past the intake butterflies.

Again, second double check tomorrow and hopefully figure this vacuum hose
and then start the engine.

Regards and thanks
