3256 lbs isn't that bad.
I would rather have a few extra pounds, and have the nice solid feel that the
Golf has, rather than the tinny feeling you get in a Subaru. I've sat in a lot
of different cars at the Twin Cities car shows over the years, and for
"non-luxury" cars, VW has one of the best "feel" when you sit inside.
