5K won't start cold!

Actually, it's been cold all week so it won't start at all...

With a little starter fluid and much pumping of the gas pedal I got it to
start and run almost-shooth at 4500RMP or more, but it absolutely will not
stay running at anything less than that.

When starting and at middle RPMs it runs *very* rough.

I just replaced the alternator and battery, maybe I bumped something?  It
was running fine before the alternator died...
