G60 calipers onto CGT

The 16V Scirocco brakes does not suck... they are excellent on the
lighter cars. If you didn't have good braking performance, perhaps
you're not running the right pads or there may be other problems.

I think a ride in my 4000 (which now has Scirocco 16V brakes, front and
rear) with Mintex red box pads will convince you of this. The Eibach/Koni
suspension works in concert to minimize dive, and you could brake so hard
that you feel like your brain is sloshed against the front of your head.

It might sound incredible, but my 4000, in its present form, brakes better
than any of my other Audis (except that it doesn't have ABS).

The 10.1"s are also lighter than the bigger brakes, so it minimizes
big gains in unsprung weight. It's a good combo on the earlier type 81
and 85 cars, where much larger brakes might be overkill and in fact
adversely impact acceleration and ride.
