You might want to take a look at raxles.com.
They say they use new Lobro outer joints on their rebuilds.
In the past 5 years I've had to replace both front half shafts 2 times
already, and again in the next few weeks. The cv joints and axles were
not to
blame, instead the cv boots. By the time l look at the boots they have
already cracked and split so bad that dirt is loaded up in the joints
when
you feel the grease. I purchased the half shafts from a reputable
import
parts warehouse with a lifetime warranty. Each time i've replaced the
shafts
the warehouse exchanges them free of charge which is good. But I'm
getting
very tired of having to replace them every other year. The half shafts
cost
$89 each. I know LOBRO makes a CV Joint Boot Kit but I never seem to get
to
the joints before they have so much dirt in them. So i'm wondering if I
should fork out the money for LOBRO halfshafts and not have to replace
always? Has anyone had very good luck with LOBRO? The average price
per
axle is $250 i've seen.
