Hi John,
You really, really, need to be able to pull the codes from the ECU. The
Bentley covers this somewhat cryptically. A better place to look is Scott
Mockery's web site:
http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/ecuf.html
is the page you need to pull codes.
There is also a page dealing with no start:

No spark if the components are testing ok means the ECU cannot make sense of
the signals. The ECU will throw a code in this case, so pulling the codes
is very important. Your problem may be a simple as the alignment of the
distributor (the hall window) being out of range.
