Engine Books

Alright Audifans...I need some suggestions!

I'd love to read more about building up a high performance engine.  At this
point I don't think it really matters what make, I'd just like to get well
versed on the effects of things such as bore, stroke, timing, overlap, fuel
management etc.

Now, I figure that this isn't going to be all in one book...but I thought YOU
guys and gals might have some ideas on some good reads.

Titles, authors and ISBNS would be Grrrrrrrrrreat.
