Request For List Member Living near Dearborn Heights MI

I am looking for a very specific car, a 1981 Audi 4000 5+5. I had one as my=
 first car, and just want one again. I'd prefer Helios Metalic Blue (color =
of mine). I'd gladly give my left nut to science to get one in good/great c=
ondition. I'd even be willing to consider trading my 87.5 CGT for one...

Hi,
The 81 Audi 4000 listing must be in error.  I spoke to the car's owner this
morning and he reported that the car was sold 6 months ago.  However, I hav=
e a
friend with a used VW/Audi salvage yard that has over 1000 Audi and VW cars.
He may have something available that is similar.  What is the main
consideration that you are looking for?
