searching the archives (how to)

I am certainly no expert at searching the archives.  However, here is how I find the more recent posts.

When you put in the search term, also type "+audifans.com/pipermail/quattro", or whatever particular mailing list you want to search.  This will for whatever reason get you the new stuff.

Not putting that specific path seems to get the older stuff only.  As for why, I have no idea.
