Bob,
I went through this routine this summer.  After checking the dist, Hall
sender, FP and FP relay, I replaced the ignition control module -- the little
one behind the glove compartment.  P/N 191 905 351B.  Same P/N in CGT and
many others.  If you have to go to a yard to get one, holler back and I'll
send you a list of models in the AM.
