   That surmise is suspect, IMO- seems unlikely that fuel would just *stop*.
  You could jumper the pump to verify, and go so far as pulling an injector
and lifting the metering plate to see for sure.

   If it was me, I think I'd focus on the hall sender in the dist first.
You messed with that recently, right?
