A6 2.7t - P.O. was a SMOKER!! Need to change the carbon filter

Well I did it.
traded in my good ole A4 for a 2000 A6 2.7T 30k mi.

The previous owner was a smoker, ughhhhhh, the car
itself smell fine, it's when the hot air is blowing
through the vents you smell residue smoke.....can this
be remedied by changing the carbon filter...is there
one? If so where is it located. Any help would be much
appreciated as the smell is driving me nuts!!
