In Ca. the Quattro Club (Audi Club now I guess) hosts about 3-4 events per
year at tracks such as Laguna, Sears, and Thunderhill. These are not
"racing" events, but driving events where students are allowed to drive their
car at the limit under the guidance of the club and instructors, graduating
into the "C" group means no instructor is required, and you can run your car
as hard as you want in about 4-30min sessions per day, events last 2 days.
Also, you may want to look into other clubs such as TCRA.com and
nasaproracing.com, donutzracing.com and others that hold similar events. You
can see some pic of me and my car at the last Laguna Seca event at
www.80tq.com. We just had an event at Thunderhill last weekend in the pouring
rain, and the next event is at Laguna Feb 1, 2, check out
