I've been talking with this guy about a 10VT he has for sale. Not sure if I can afford it, or even if i want it (messing with a rare 87.5 is not cool IMHO, but i want more power...). Anyway, thought I'd ask for opinions...
"5cyl 10 valve turbo motor, harness, computer and everthing else under the hood of my 4000. u get all the plumbing, blow off valve, fuel distributer n custom air box, brackets, intercooler, oil cooler, starter, flywheel and sport clucth. The motor was completely rebuilt top to bottom. New pistons, total seal rings, race bearings from Dalhback Racing, all new gaskets, metal head gasket, arp head studs, schrik head kit(278 cam, cam gear, springs n retainers, port n polish, new guides and 5 angle valve job, and wrapped down pipe also. Motor has 1.583 miles since rebuild and is in car still if any 1 wants to see it run. i would like to get to get at least $1.800 dallors for everything. Figure about $2800 for a drive away package (full conversion/install) to do every thing remove and install with all parts brackets and
plumbing , drive in drive out..."
Sounds like it should go like a bat out of hell. But I searched LONG and HARD for an 87.5 CGT, and am unsure whether I should mess with it, also, I'd have to do the "roll in/roll out" option, so the cost is quite high (although nothing compared to a 2Bennett conversion)... Thoughts and opinions?
