    I put the Hella H4 E-code 7"x6" rectangular headlights in my 79 Rabbit with
80/100 bulbs which were way better than the US lamps.  For a lower cost
alternative to Euro lights, I'd go with either the Hella's or Cibie's.  I think
the Cibie's have a higher quality lens but not sure.  My Hella's are on my
Toyota Truck now.  The lights are about 12 years old now.  I added the Neuspeed
"City Light" to the housing.  Also, I have the Lexan lense protector which has
saved the lens from all the miles they have.  The protectors are NLA.
    The Hella's run around $40 each light.  Then make sure you put in an
upgraded wiring harness and relays in you run the higher wattage bulbs.  The
harness/relays are a must on the Audis.
