Would you convert a rare CGT (an 87.5) to 10VT?

I agree with Javad assuming your starting from
scratch. 2B's goal is to make it look like it came
from the factory like that, and it sounds like they do
a good job of it. You have to if another party is
going to maintain the car. It sounds like this guy
has the motor installed in a 4kq right now, which
would make it pretty easy to just transfer all the
bits over to the cgt. All the little stuff is done,
you just have to re-assemble it. I do also think you
need to have an inside knowledge of what's going on
with the swap. It makes it much easier to maintain,
then again, if your going to have this guy maintain
your car for the rest of it's life, that's probably
fine to.
If I were you, I'd park the two cars side by side, and
try to compare the differences, maybe with him there
too. Tell him you don't want him this to turn into a
nightmare. One or both of you may realize that this
is not a good idea. He may be thinking the conversion
will be easy, but when he get's another look at a
stock car, he'll probably remember some stuff he
wasn't thinking about before. Ask him if he's going
to swap the body parts like cross braces that have
been modified, or if he's going to cut yours up.
Either way is fine, but swaping in the modified ones
would be quicker.
