TFA on XP

OK folks, I've tried everything that I've seen on the list,
1, Full install gives 304 Hardlock not present
2, Run Hardlock.exe - still 304
3, Copy LEXHDL5.DLL from W95 - still 304
4, Copy all files (except .ini and lexhdl5.dll) from NT4 to PROG - still
304.
5, Reinstalled - still 304
Uninstalled and tried
1 - still 304
4 - still 304
3 - still 304

and other permutations, still only see 304 Hardlock not present.

Running Win XP sr1  and TFA is version 6 dated October 2002.

Any/all suggestions welcome.

Advice - don't wipe a working W98 version before you've got the XP one up
and running.
