tips for welding cracked exhaust manifolds?

I was even cheaper than that.  I saved the $30 a Garrett flange cost and
chop-sawed the flang off of a damaged Garrett turbine housing.  Got a rabbit
gti EM from u-pull-it yard for $9 and chopped the outlet off of it.  Thats
what my turbo EM cost me.
