dunno if you can pull it off where you live, but I donated my dead '86
4kq to charity. They send you a reciept, then you write it off your taxes.
It's lovely- bought the car for $1000, drove it for a year (paid mebbe $150
to fix this and that), killed it, stripped off all the good parts I
wanted/could get to/could carry (good rims, 10 disc changer, roof rack,
window switches, fuel injection componentry, etc...) and am going to get a
$500 write off. Beaters rule.
