5KTQW to 100QW

One of my 5KTQWs is nearing the end of its life, so I've started a
search for newer QWs.  One style that is fairly available in my price
range is the 92-93 100 Q wagon (avant).  These seem to only come with
auto trannies and no turbo (though they do have a larger V6).  My
question for those on the forum that are familiar with  both of these
wagons is what are the differences between the two.  I am most concerned
about handling, accelleration, and the sturdiness of the V6 NA engine.
