Yep. My last SAAB had the fan controller go bad, so I installed a cabin
switch. Ran it that way three years with no problem. Stressed its
importance to the kid I finally sold it to. He fried the engine driving
around town after a longish trip, but acknowledged he'd forgotten the switch.
