advice on long life plugs?

By all means, do not use these plugs.  My car will
barely start with these.

Expensive, but they work very well.  I think I got
mine from Rod at TPC for ~$12 each.

If I did this, I'd try some cheep platinum ones with a
fat electrode like you say above.  Something that
resembles a standard bosch plug, which BTW, works
great also.  I could never tell the difference between
them and the tripple electrodes.
