A/C, O-ring size ? Type 44

Be careful about obtaining O-rings from an alternate source.  If the
original rings are colored, then a hardware store black (Buna) O-ring is
probably not going to do the job for very long...
Most automotive fuel and A/C systems use Neoprene or fluoroelastomer (DuPont
Viton) O-rings.  These special materials are there for a reason.  There's a
big difference between your bathroom faucet and an A/C compressor.
