First I'll take back my comment that the updated diff lock rod swap can't be
done in situ. It can, but it involves 25,000 rpm/diamonds, and peeling back
the trans tunnel carpet... WRT 4.11 I took a pass, with lighweight flywheel
and 22psi k24 Bob, I'm saving the 4.11 for the lagging (pun intended) RS2 urq
project, but thanks for the thought.
Before anyone starts after 4.11 swaps, I'd get a full listing of the gear
ratios available for the 016 trans (both 4.11 and 3.89). I think you will
find the urq 3.89 as a great starting point. The 4kq based 4.11 5th is a bit
roudy at highway speeds for my taste.
Oh, and my Jan 02 right side motor mount fell off in my hand today. Annual
project added to the list.
