Alan Hi,

I have used a similar concept thing on two of my cars.

A turbodiesel and intercooled Land Rover Discovery 200Tdi and a gazoline
engined (four cylinder, 14 valves, variable camshaft, multipoint injection,
138 bhp) open top two seater Fiat Barchetta.

On both cars there was some reduction in fuel consumption and a small
increase in performance.

Fuel consumption was tested by keeping a record of it but the performance
increase was only feel of pants and was not checked in any scientificaly
approved (or approaching/emulating that) way.

All in all I would say that if you intend to drive your car a lot you may
recuparate some of the cost through savings in your gas bills so it is not
that bad.

Take care
Pantelis
