I5 Block heater - long followup report

FWIW, I used a dipstick heater in my turbo Mustang a few years ago.  It
worked quite well, but it always bothered me that I was sticking
something into the oil.  In fact on one subzero night I loaned it to a
neighbor and he was able to get his car started a few hours later.

I like the idea of the ones that fit in a heater hose, as they would
provide much needed cabin heat sooner as well as warming the engine.
