Hi Ben,
I live in Calgary, AB at 3,200 feet altitude. Even driving through the
rockies to Vancouver, BC I never experienced any problems. As for gas
mileage goes, I did not notice a difference after chipping the car
either. I am running a 1.8 bar SJM chip and wastegate spring in my 885ktq.
In terms of performance. You will not regret it. To quote Bernard Littau
(when I met him in the spring) "there is no good reason not to do it"
He's absolutely right. The problem is; it's hard to stop there...
Cheers,
Zsolt
